Caregiver Qualifications Background Investigation

Basic Caregiver Qualifications Investigation

Our minimum caregiver qualifications investigation includes:

State Driving History: This report will deliver the state’s official record of the individual’s driving record, typically including accidents and citations in the last three to five years.

Depending on the class of license, different states provide different kinds of information and records for different lengths of time.

County-level Civil Protective/Restraining Order Research: This is a search for civil protective orders (also called restraining orders or stay-away orders) filed in the past two years by or against the individual in each county associated with the individual in the past two years.

CPOs are frequently filed in the context of domestic disputes, but they can also be filed in non-domestic situations, e.g., coworkers, former employers, neighbors, etc.

CPOs are not always considered public information and may not be accessible by conducting a county search.

Because research is often conducted by court or law enforcement personnel, this research often takes 5-7 business days to complete.

Federal Bankruptcy Research: This review of federal court records will identify any bankruptcy filings by the individual in the past ten years.

Advanced Caregiver Qualifications Investigation

Federal Bankruptcy Research: This review of federal court records will identify any bankruptcy filings by the individual in the past ten years.

Education Verification: This is an attempt to verify college, university, or trade school accomplishments asserted by the individual and, when known, identification of unaccredited institutions and degree mills.

Unless otherwise agreed, the individual’s highest level completed education claim will attempt to be verified.

Employment Verification: This is a diligent attempt to verify directly with the Human Resources department or other authorized source the specific details of previous employment claims made by the individual.

This is not a professional reference check in which another person’s opinions or experiences with the individual’s work habits, competency, reliability, or other issues will be explored.

Unless otherwise arranged, the individual’s three most recent employment claims will be verified.

Professional License and Certification Verification: This is a diligent attempt to verify license or certification claims made by the individual.

Unless agreed otherwise, only one verification is included in a package.

Premier Caregiver Qualifications Investigation

Our most thorough caregiver qualifications package adds a review of the individual’s civil litigation history (both who they’ve sued and who has sued them), including:

Because of the unique nature of civil litigation research, this research often takes 5-7 business days or longer to complete, particularly if an individual has a common name.

Federal District Civil Litigation and Bankruptcy Research: This search in each federal district associated with the individual in the past ten years will identify civil litigation and bankruptcies associated with the individual in the past ten years.
